Early Shots
Hi, my name is Franco, and I've been taking pictures for a while now. I got introduced to the DSLR camera three years ago, and I've been on and off with taking pictures. At first, it was just something fun. Then, I discovered manual focus, and I felt like I had all the power in the world. I felt as if I knew the camera inside and out (even though the focus setting is actually on the lens). Slowly, I messed with the manual setting on the camera for a shot with good exposure and lighting, but I had no thought for depth of field and/or other creative aspects. Several months back, I began to take photography more seriously, and my knowledge base grew rapidly, and assuredly. This year, I'm taking a class in photography, and even though it's mainly a lot of Photoshop work, I still learn a bunch. Now, I spend up to about four hours a day after school reading photography tips and researching the many functions and possibilities of this marvelous invention. I'm on the edge of beginner and amateur, but I hope to move up soon enough. But until then, I have this website to showcase some of my photos, and to give an insight on how an amateur photographer works and thinks!
